July to October, where did the time go? I don't know, but one thing I do know is that I didn't get around to uploading our photos, and we got numerous complaints and hints.  At least we know somebody is looking at our website!

Lots of progress, but maybe not as much as we'd hoped, and definitely not in the areas we had hoped to progress with, i.e. the house.  Rita has done a fantastic job in the gardens, especially since we had such an terrible summer weather-wise.  Other than that, I managed to finish off the thunderbox toilet, put a new roof on the old bakery building, install the septic tank and the soakaway, and various smaller jobs around the shed and old milking parlour. I've also plugged all the holes in our shed roof/walls, so its a lot less drafty now, should be able to make it through the winter now.

Note:  I've uploaded the photos for July to October, but I haven't yet put the captions on.  One job at a time.

deed, and our questions about how they would be slaughtered were not fully answered, until the day.  The day after we did help out with the butchering and making of sausages and pate, and we even had our first pork chops for dinner that night, but next time we'll definitely find someone who will stun them first.
